Menla is an elevated experience to behold. Indulge in the beauty of nature. Immerse yourself in the magic of pristine mountain forests. Explore hiking trails, encounter wildlife, and discover a rich tapestry of wellness experiences and activities such as hiking, and swimming, or join us for the tranquility and oneness of forest bathing and sound bathing.  Leverage this respite to rest, and recalibrate. Laugh, learn, and come alive individually and collectively via a shared experience with 12 beautiful, openhearted, human beings. Enjoy three sumptuous, vegan/vegetarian, farm-to-table organic meals and healthy snacking. Workshops include a next-level juicing class, laughter yoga, full on sound healing journey with Lisa and friends, and a fun, interactive essential oils experience. During these three days you’ll make lasting memories and forge new relationships with others as well as YOURSELF!

Real Deal Cancelation Policy

Please understand that the Retreat Registration fee is non-refundable if canceled after June 30, 2024. If you are unable to join us due to unforeseen circumstances, your payment will be applied toward a future retreat with Lisa Bondy.

Menla Participant Accommodations Cancellation Policy

  • Up to 24 hours before the program starts, you will receive a full refund, minus a 10% processing fee (The 10% cancellation fee represents the fees we pay to our credit card processing company and the administrative fees and will be deducted from the paid amount). You will be refunded 90% of the original cost of your purchase. 

  • Within 24 hours before the start of the retreat, you will not receive a refund but instead will receive full credit, minus a 10% processing fee, which can be applied to any other Tibet House-sponsored program, group retreat where we take accommodations or full registrations. This credit is good for one year. 

  • If the participant does not show up for any reason or chooses to leave early, no refund or credit will be given.

*Please note that there are no Menla refunds issued within 24 hours of the start of the retreat for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, or travel delays.

Meals at Menla:

Executive Chef Alicia and her fabulous kitchen crew pour their love into the food, and our guests can really taste it! Much of our vegetarian cuisine comes straight from our organic vegetable garden, and we also strive to provide the healthiest most delicious seasonally-sourced whole foods from our best local vendors. We can handle most special dietary needs (e.g. vegan, gluten-free, wheat-free, nut allergies, etc) with sufficient notice. Please let us know your needs during registration. Local Region Activities:

There is no shortage of amazing experiences to explore at Menla, known as “Tibet in the Catskills.” From antique treasure hunting, horseback riding, fly fishing and more, there’s so much to experience at this 330-acre private nature reserve. Menla offers a medical plant tour, a garden and horticultural tour, private Qi Gong Instruction and other activities that can be booked with them directly. This location is about reconnecting with the beauty and healing powers of nature. Sitting at the head of a breathtaking glacial valley, it’s one of the most beautiful parts of the Catskills.

Protips/What to Pack:

This retreat is all about being comfortable, casual, and at peace! Comfy yoga clothing and warmer clothes for nighttime (it can get chilly), shoes that you won’t mind getting slightly dirty/muddy, a poncho or rain jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses, bug repellent, bite-soothing remedy, a spare bag for wet clothes, hair ties, water bottle, charging cords or charging battery, binoculars. a swimsuit and cover-up, flip-flops.
